Consolidation of Real Estate Brokerages Continues

Conlon buys North Side brokerage

(Crain’s) — Residential brokerage owner Sean Conlon has acquired a little-known rival in a deal that bolsters his firm’s North Side presence despite the down market.


The acquisition of the Real Estate Group, or TREG, could increase the size of Mr. Conlon’s firm by about 40%, to 125 agents, Mr. Conlon says. The deal also gives his company a Lakeview location to go along with offices in Roscoe Village and on the Near West Side. Read more...
